Places to Visit in Edinburgh
Prior to your departure and especially if you have travelled some
distance why not stop overnight in an hotel and take in the many
attractions which Edinburgh has to offer. Edinburgh since 1999 has
been home to the newly established Scottish Parliament which has
given a major boost to Scotland's capital city. The famous Edinburgh
Tattoo in the grounds of Edinburgh Castle takes place for or 3 weeks
in August along with the fringe programme for arts and culture.

The Edinburgh Tattoo is the most spectacular show in the world,
enjoyed by an international television audience of 100 million.
But there's no substitute for being there, as part of the 217,000-strong
audience over its three-week season on the Esplanade at Edinburgh
Castle who don't simply watch the show but become a part of it.
Edinburgh Festival
The Edinburgh International Festival was founded in 1947. It is
now recognised as one of the most important celebrations of the
arts in the world. Takes place mid August to early September with
1000's of different performances
